Senior/Lead Software Engineer (Scala)

Senior/Lead Software Engineer (Scala) role at Architus, a company that connects leading businesses with top EU engineering talent. Requirements

• Strong experience in backend or full-stack development
• Strong knowledge of Scala
• Experience with the Typelevel stack (Cats, Cats-Effect, Http4s, FS2)
• Experience with Kafka or/and Event-based architecture
• Experience or interest in Infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Experience using a cloud-native development approach with GCP or AWS
• Exposure to implementing and consuming APIs
• Proven experience in a fast-paced growth environment
• Passion for product and user experience, along with strong commercial thinking
• Willing to own code from development to production
• Familiarity with Test Driven Development (TDD) is beneficial
• Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
