Job Description
Core to the ArchWell Health approach is to have a robust clinical care team focused on the needs of our members. The Medical Assistant (MA) plays a critical role in supporting the PCP day-to-day and ensuring efficiency in the care provided to patients.
Requirements
- Conduct intake with patients, measuring and recording vital signs, patient interview, and medical history
- Perform examinations and routine screenings, ensuring patients are informed and all questions and concerns are addressed for each procedure
- Change dressings, apply bandages, remove sutures and other first aid procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and conduct accurate, legal, and ethical documentation at all times
- Provide health coaching to a defined group of patients to support healthy lifestyle choices
