Vice President, Global Reconciliations

Ares is seeking a Vice President, Global Reconciliations to oversee the cash and par reconciliation team process, manage daily reconciliation operations, and ensure compliance with internal, legal, and regulatory policies. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of investment management operations experience and strong knowledge of various asset classes, primarily focused in credit/fixed income, derivatives, and FX.

Requirements

• Proactively oversee the cash and par reconciliation team process
• Assist with daily management and oversight of the reconciliation process
• Maintain high standard of quality controls and oversight of the recon process
• Influencing and participating in decisions on policies/procedures
• Oversee all audit related inquiries and submissions
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to improve and enhance recon team workflows
