Senior Mechanical Engineer - Data Centers (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary Data Center Engineering team in Frankfurt or Düsseldorf. The role involves leading the design of mechanical systems for medium to large-scale mission critical projects, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements

• University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 8 or more years of experience designing mission critical mechanical systems for industrial facilities, experience with Data Centers is a plus
• Ability to manage project deliverables and budgets while effectively prioritizing your tasks and those of others, balance assigned work, and exceptional organization skills are required
• Knowledge in relevant German codes and Industry standards
• Design of different cooling solutions
• Familiar with EEFG requirements, PUE/ WUE calculations
• Experienced with Technical Due Diligence projects
• Understanding of Tier Levels (UI, TUEV IT) and SPOF Analysis
• Experience with 3D BIM software - Revit MEP
• Fluent in English and ideally German
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
