
Job description
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for optimizing maintenance repair activities at the Silver Bell mine, ensuring safety, environmental impact, and production goals are met. They will lead a team to improve plant and equipment availability, and make strategic decisions on resource allocation and budget management.
The Maintenance Manager will plan, coordinate, and control maintenance activities, review project documents, develop annual budgets, analyze costs, and negotiate equipment purchases. They will also provide direct supervision, coach and counsel direct reports, and communicate company directives.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of maintenance and supervisory experience, a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, and excellent computer skills. They must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and travel up to 10% of the time.
