AGI is looking for a Japanese Language Instructor to support an upcoming government contract.
Requirements
- Teach adult professional students in preparation for the world of work utilizing current strategies and theories that address myriad adult learner individual differences (age, sex/gender, education level, experience level, motivation, rank, socioeconomic status, personal history, etc.).
- Deliver instruction and conduct assessments across proficiency levels ranging from ILR level 0 through ILR Level 3+.
- Adapt authentic materials or repurpose traditional language materials using the Interagency Language Roundtable Language Skill Level Descriptions to tailor curricula to meet student needs.
- Integrate audio, video, and computer assisted multi-media into the foreign language classroom.
- Instruct and explain cultural, technical, and military concepts, vocabulary, and terms required by each lesson plan.
