Youth & Family Specialist

The Youth and Family Specialist will serve dual roles in the Child and Family Services, supporting youth in home-like settings and achieving permanency, and recruiting and supporting families. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including school personnel, child welfare staff, and the general public.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field
• Significant experience working with children with social/emotional/physical problems
• Mediation and conflict resolution skills
• Word processing/computer skills
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
• Ability to use independent judgment and discretion
