As a Head Start Teacher at Asociacion Puertorriquenos en Marcha (APM), you will be responsible for providing a foundation for children's academic success, health, and well-being. You will carry out daily classroom activities, develop lesson plans, and promote cultural, cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in our classrooms.
Requirements
- BS/BA in Early Childhood Education or related field
- 2 years of experience working as a classroom teacher in early childhood education
- Knowledge of and belief in the Head Start Family empowerment model
- Knowledge of or experience working with at-risk children
- Bi-lingual, bi-cultural in the Latino culture preferred
