Job Description
The Special Education Site Administrator is responsible for overseeing programs that provide educational assistance to students receiving special education services. The role involves developing IEP documents, scheduling and facilitating IEP meetings, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. The administrator will work with the site administrator and teachers to ensure the needs of all students are met.
Requirements
- Cleared Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild-Moderate Support Needs/Extensive Support Needs) required
- 3+ years as a Special Education Teacher required
- 1+ years of experience coaching and observing teachers
- Bachelor’s degree required, with relevant degree and/or content expertise
