Job Description
Industrial Design Engineer position responsible for modeling, documenting, and communicating new product concepts and designs, and working to ensure design integrity.
Requirements
- Assist project teams in the development of complex CAD modeling, assembly, and rendering
- Communicate with Industrial Design Group in Lake Forest, CA, to report the status of new, ongoing, and completed assignments
- Aid project teams in the development of aesthetics of new products
- Create renderings and 3D digital models by accurately translating the design intent of concepts
- Oversee outside resources in creating physical models from the CAD data
- Work with mechanical engineers to ensure that aesthetic design is properly implemented in product engineering phase
- Write and illustrate for US and foreign patents to legally protect designs
