Assurity Trusted Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team. The role will involve conducting threat risk assessments, performing threat modeling, and leading multi-disciplinary teams to implement and operate cyber security controls. The successful candidate will have 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity domain and experience in managing security infrastructure.
Requirements
- Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on Cybersecurity matters
- Conducts comprehensive Threat Risk Assessments across applications, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise systems
- Performs Threat Modelling using structured methodologies (e.g., STRIDE), with strong integration of MITRE ATT&CK
- Leads and influences multi-disciplinary teams in implementing and operating cyber security controls for cloud and on-premises environment
- Provides recommendations for the configuration and improvement of security detection and response tools
- Evaluates new technologies and validates the security of the technology
- Specifies and writes technical security clauses within project tender specifications
- Analyses, documents, and presents security findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborates with government agencies to define security requirements and works closely with industry partners to implement functional capabilities
- Ensures adherence to secure software development lifecycle practices
