Job Description
Design Lead – Solar (Civil / Structural) job summary: Review and execute engineering activities for civil/structural engineering of solar PV power plants, lead a team of design engineers and draughts persons, and provide support for engineering activities from pre-bid to commissioning.
Requirements
- B.E. / B. Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering
- 8–14 years of experience in design aspects of Solar PV Power Plants / Power Distribution Projects
- Timely delivery of engineering drawings & documents
- Multitasking and delivering multiple things on time
- Estimate and plan man-hour requirements
- Review and approval of vendor deliverables
- Inter-departmental checks and coordination
- Support to site execution team
- Pre-award evaluation of vendors and validation document submission
- Inspection of equipment and issue clarification to site execution team
- Collection of project details from client and section head
- Coordinating with operations team and informing design specifications
- Submission of requirement of man-hours for undertaking and reviewing design & drawings
- Design deliverables like module mounting structure design, GA drawing, control room, inverter room civil & structural drawings & document, solar plant civil infrastructure drawings and design
