Mechanical Engineer - Piping stress

Assystem is seeking a Senior Piping Engineer with 8-10 years of experience in performing piping stress and flexibility analysis for nuclear projects. The ideal candidate will execute work assigned by the Pipe Stress Lead Engineer and ensure QC for compliance with nuclear projects.

Requirements

• Good Knowledge in piping analysis
• Good analytical and planning skills
• Minimum 5 years on undertaking piping engineering calculations
• Carrying out the dimensioning of pipes and their supports
• Carrying out counter-calculations of flexibility and support
• Update the modifications made by the Client’s various services
• Analyse and compare initial results with those modifications
• Produce the associated calculation notes
• Update calculations carried out by the Client’s various suppliers
• Instruct modifications in relation to the Client’s various services
• Working with the designers to implement modifications to 3D models
• Exposure to ISO 9001 Processes and Procedures
