The Senior Principal Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting Client Projects by providing quality assurance, management and control services. The role involves leading quality records reviews, participating in quality planning, and supporting the client in establishing effective quality assurance and manufacturing surveillance programmes. The position requires a dynamic individual with a solid understanding of quality assurance and control principles, and experience in leading compliance with National and International standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years post academic experience
- Experience in large/complicated project environment, preferably in the nuclear (or heavily regulated) sector
- Experience in leading compliance with National and International standards such as GS-R-3, ISO 9001, ISO19443; ISO 3834; EN10204
- Experience of engaging with Regulator(s) on technical quality issues
- Experience planning and Leading Internal and Supplier Audits
- Ability to carry out unsupervised inspections to appropriate standards
- Experience in the review of Quality Records (e.g. Material Certification; CFSI)
- Minimum 8 years experience in managing people/ leading teams
