OT Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Engineering Projects & Systems Lead, the Senior Systems & OT Infrastructure Engineer will operate within the Systems Engineering team, overseeing the design, implementation, and operational support of manufacturing systems infrastructure.

What You Will Do

Design and support resilient, compliant OT architectures for PLC/SCADA, DCS, MES, historians, and vendor-packaged systems. Manage and optimise OT infrastructure including servers, virtualisation, storage, backup, recovery, and lifecycle processes.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• Significant senior-level experience in OT, industrial IT, or manufacturing systems within regulated industries
• Strong expertise in IT/OT infrastructure including server operating systems, virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), backup/disaster recovery, OT networks, and cybersecurity in manufacturing environments
• Proven experience supporting automation and manufacturing systems, including PLC/SCADA/DCS architectures, CQV activities, and full SDLC delivery
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, technical troubleshooting across infrastructure/network/application layers, and driving continuous improvement through strong communication and proactive problem-solving
