Associate Director, Medical Lead, Medical Affairs - Hematology & Nephrology

Role Overview

As an Associate Director, Medical Lead, you will develop a medical plan/strategy for Alexion Medical Affairs, working with cross-functional teams to execute the plan and achieve objectives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing medical strategies, leading cross-functional discussions, and planning and promoting Company Sponsored Research (CSR) and Externally Sponsored Research (ESR).

What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing and implementing medical strategies, leading cross-functional discussions, planning and promoting CSR and ESR, and planning and supervising Patient Support Programs (PSP) and Patient Medical Programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
• Master's degree, PharmD, Ph.D in sciences, or MD background
• Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) in local language and English
• Analytical skills as applied to medical, scientific, and technical information
• Ability to evaluate medical/scientific literature and develop effective medical strategies and communication strategies
