Field Application Engineer

Astrodyne TDI is looking for a Field Application Engineer to provide technical and application support to customers in the UK or Netherlands. The FAE will assist customers in selecting solutions, resolve issues, and develop new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Provide technical support to customers and participate in technical customer meetings
• Work with customers to design opportunities and convey the value proposition
• Coordinate with Research and Development team to resolve issues
• Train partner FAEs to sell the solution value proposition
• Analyze applications and recommend expert advice
• Maintain knowledge on industry trends and resolve design issues
• Ability to solder and rework to modify existing designs
• Bench testing of existing products including setups with thermal chambers
• Support customer equipment testing for compliance
• Assist with product marketing materials and datasheets
