Senior Mechanical Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in complex mechatronic system design, contributing to the delivery of multidisciplinary industrial robotic products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, fabricating, assembling, documenting, and testing mechatronic systems that include multi-axis actuation.

What You Will Do

Design complex electro-mechanical systems from concept through production release, including specifying actuators, motors, and sensing technologies, and validating designs through hands-on prototyping and testing.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of applicable professional experience in the robotics or automation industry
• Demonstrated experience designing electro-mechanical systems from concept through product release/shipment at scale
• Expertise in the design and specification of actuators, motors, and sensing technologies
• Experience validating designs with structural finite element analysis (FEA)
• Proficient with Onshape, Solidworks (or equivalent)
• Proficient creating and interpreting engineering drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems such as Arena PLM or equivalent
