Job Description
The Clinical Lab Supervisor at Atrium Health Navicent will perform phlebotomy procedures, supervise technologists, and ensure accurate and timely results. This role involves daily operations like ordering supplies, scheduling, and ensuring appropriate communication with colleagues and other supervisors. The position requires a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and maintaining high skill standards.
Requirements
- 1. Must be a High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
- 2. Baccalaureate degree from accredited college or university including at least 30 quarter hours of lecture science (chemistry, biology, math)
- 4 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in a Hospital laboratory, and/or 2 years in supervisory capacity preferred.
- Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS) by the Board of Registry as ASCP, AMT, AAB (with 15yrs. experience), NCA, HHS certification or equivalent.
