Mechanic

Auxilio is seeking a Mechanic to plan, schedule, and perform repair and preventative maintenance for the district bus fleet, including cars and trucks. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, preparing records, and adhering to safety regulations. The company specializes in managing student environment and providing expert management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver License
• Class B CDL License with Air Brakes
• HDT brakes certification preferred
• Experience with gasoline and diesel engines preferred
• ASE or diesel equivalent State HDT certification preferred
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment
• Experience with school bus preventative maintenance
• Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic equipment
• Knowledge of safe driving principles
• Proficiency with record keeping
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor
