AvalonBay is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to execute maintenance requests, diagnose problems, and make repairs to maintain the physical condition of the community. The role requires a talented individual who can tackle challenges, bring innovative solutions, and ensure residents enjoy a superior quality of living.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, and waste management systems.
The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in maintenance work, including knowledge of HVAC repair, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance repair work. They must be able to accommodate an on-call schedule, communicate with associates and residents, and read and understand policies and procedures.
