Avant Law is seeking a Solicitor to join their team in Melbourne, working closely with specialist lawyers to defend medical practitioners. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and a focus on collaboration, advocacy, and making a difference for doctors.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary legal qualifications
• Eligible to hold an unsupervised practising certificate as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia
• 1-3 years PQE in medical negligence, professional conduct related litigation, and criminal law experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of prioritisation, time management, and self-management skills
• Good computer literacy and competency to work in an electronic document management environment
