Role Overview

Avidyne Corporation is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design and development of complex avionics' platforms. This role involves defining electrical architecture, guiding design decisions, and influencing system-level outcomes from concept through certification and production.

Own Electrical Architecture, Lead Complex Hardware Development, Design for Flight-Critical Performance, Guide and Elevate the Team, Close the Loop with Manufacturing & Test, Improve Engineering Operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (master's preferred)
• 10+ years of experience designing and integrating PCB-based hardware systems
• Deep experience with digital processor-based systems, mixed-signal design, and complex interfaces
• Strong schematic and layout collaboration experience using modern ECAD tools (Altium preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to lead technically, through architecture decisions, design reviews, and engineering influence
• Experience operating in regulated, high-reliability, or safety-critical environments is highly valued
