Production Supervisor

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor directs the development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and materials supply.

What You Will Do

Supervise day-to-day activities of manufacturing personnel, develop and review key operating metrics, implement training and productivity improvements, analyze work orders, and direct workers in repair of products.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have 8 years in a manufacturing/production environment with at least 4 years in a Supervisory role, demonstrated prior performance in a mid-volume discrete manufacturing operations leadership role, and understanding of and experience with ISO approved quality systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years in a manufacturing/production environment
• At least 4 years in a Supervisory role
• Demonstrated prior performance in a mid-volume discrete manufacturing operations leadership role
• Understanding of and experience with ISO approved quality systems
• Good knowledge and understanding of technical processes and engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of ERP systems (Oracle experience a plus)
• Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
