Conduct community outreach to generate qualified treatment referrals, build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and recovery communities, and educate referral sources about Aware Recovery Care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year (2 years preferred) of continuous personal recovery from any Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and/or personal experience with addiction in family members or loved ones
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a field-based outreach and comfortable speaking to mixed audiences including clinicians, hospital staff, families, and people actively seeking recovery
- Self-starter with strong motivation and organizational skills
- Passionate about helping individuals struggling with substance use disorders
- Ability to work ethically and professionally in sensitive environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
