Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate is responsible for transactional accounting, maintenance of the general ledger, and working collaboratively with senior accounting staff to reconcile financial data and execute financial tasks.

Requirements

• Manage AP approval limits / user profiles in AP system
• Manage accounts payable workflows
• Initiate vendor payments
• Assist Shared Services team with questions on invoice coding
• Manage user profiles for all employees in the expense reimbursement system
• Review and process employee expense reports
• Reconcile corporate credit card transactions
• Support the monthly close process
• Identify discrepancies and work with team members to resolve issues
• Ensure adherence to internal controls related to payment processing and financial transactions
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows
• Support annual audit preparation and requests from external auditors
