Job Description
Ayla Networks is seeking a Firmware Lead to drive innovation in IoT and help businesses improve their operations. This role involves architecting, building, and maintaining embedded systems software, identifying and solving complex business problems, and leading the entire Software Development Life Cycle for solutions. The position focuses on core business functions and involves mentorship of engineers and cross-functional collaboration. Ayla is redefining IoT through an Agile IoT Platform.
Requirements
- Bridge gaps between business problems and solutions
- Architect, design, build and maintain embedded systems software
- Identify fit-for-purpose technologies and efficient, reusable solutions
- Mentor other engineers and collaborate with supply chain
- Automate infrastructure and build pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Design and maintain coding standards and ensure quality delivery
- Review customer and third-party code and provide handover strategies
- Troubleshoot issues reported by customers and teams
