Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at Babcock, you'll work on the development of equipment that interfaces with submarine reactor plant systems, contributing to the safe operation, maintenance and refit of nuclear submarines. You'll have the opportunity to develop your engineering expertise across the full design lifecycle, working on complex systems in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

• Understanding of mechanical engineering principles, particularly in pressure systems or pipework design
• Knowledge of the engineering design lifecycle and associated processes
• Awareness of relevant engineering legislation, standards and regulatory requirements
• HNC or equivalent qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline
