We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Henderson, WA. The role involves undertaking operational procurement activities, assisting with sourcing and contract management, and working closely with experienced team members.
Requirements
- Australian Citizen with a Defence Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
- Relevant qualifications in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Finance, Commerce, Logistics and Operations Management or related areas and/or suitable experience that provides similar competencies
- Previous experience in procurement, ideally within project-based or complex operational environments
- Demonstrated experience in running sourcing exercises (RFQ/RFI/RFT), negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships
- Familiarity with Category Management frameworks, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), and Supplier Performance Management (SPM)
- Experience supporting contract formation, negotiation, and lifecycle management, including risk identification and mitigation
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience collaborating across procurement, operations, and commercial teams
