As a Senior Accountant at Backroads, you will oversee international accounting, external audit, compliance, and statutory reporting. You will work collaboratively across the organization to ensure compliance with multi-county regulations, manage cross-border transactions, and provide accurate, timely reporting for internal stakeholders and external authorities.
Requirements
- Experience with inter-company reconciliations and eliminations, and multi-currency accounting.
- Multi-entity month-end close experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 6 years of progressive accounting experience, including international accounting and consolidation under U.S. GAAP.
- Experience with multi-currency accounting, inter-company reconciliations, and eliminations.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP (IFRS exposure preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of foreign currency translation and remeasurement.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions, all tailored to our business model and industry.
