Requirements
- Calibrate, test and trouble shoot products, evaluate, and document findings.
- Operate sophisticated instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Digital Oscilloscopes, Waveform Generators, Recording Instruments, etc).
- Support Manufacturing in upgrades and analysis of manufactured products.
- Solder through hole and surface mount components.
- Assemble mechanical parts and wire components as in building Test Fixtures.
- Follow schematics, board layouts, and assembly diagrams.
- Critique the layout of the design with the Engineer prior to finalization.
- Report accumulated data using Microsoft Office and a predetermined format.
- Voice concerns with the engineer to identify any issues or concerns with the testing of a design or the design itself.
- Specialize in areas where cross training may be needed in the case of absence or needing additional help.
- Direct others in the proper procedures necessary to accomplish the task at hand.
- Train Technicians on procedures and equipment.
- Handle the procedures necessary to have equipment calibrated or repaired.
