Egress Technician

Egress Technician role involves carrying out egress maintenance, repairs, and modifications for Tornado aircraft, providing support to RSAF, and ensuring maximum effort to safeguard programme timescales in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in trade speciality or repair and modification on Tornado Aircraft
• Current authorisations for Egress maintenance
• Completion of Tornado Egress/Armament Maintenance course
• Explosive handling course
• Working knowledge of Q-pulse, GOLD and an understanding of M&CA processes
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Hold a current driving licence
• A sound understanding of the RSAF 4-1-7166 series and supporting technical publications applicable to his work area
• An understanding of the RSAF Operation and working practices
