Job Description
Senior Metrology Engineer (Calibration) Mechanical job description: The role is responsible for applying measurement science, mathematics, physics, and engineering theory and principles to design, develop processes and methods for calibrating electrical, dimensional, optical, physical, mechanical, environmental and/or chemical Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
Requirements
- Formal training (civilian or military) in an Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical engineering field
- 4 years of formal training
- 5 years of practical experience in a relevant field
- University Degree in an appropriate subject
- Extensive professional/practical experience of engineering principles with relevance to measuring equipment
