
Job description
This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining manufacturing processes, including solder paste screen printing, solder paste inspection, pick-and-place assembly, reflow soldering, automated optical inspection, X-ray inspection, and chip bonding processes. The Senior Principal Process Engineer will lead process capability improvements, equipment qualification, statistical process control, and manufacturing readiness efforts.
Provide technical leadership and ownership of SMT and advanced microelectronics assembly processes, develop and sustain manufacturing process parameters, lead process troubleshooting and root cause analysis, implement and maintain Statistical Process Control, and support New Product Introduction and Non-Recurring Engineering builds.
This position requires strong collaboration with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise in manufacturing processes, strong leadership skills, and experience with statistical process control and equipment qualification.
