As a Procurement Lead, you will lead on behalf of the technology category management team in establishing and managing procurement plans as well as acting as a key interface between the sectors and wider Technology Procurement Team.
Requirements
- Act as the focal point and business partner for the Software Category Manager, supporting new requirements, renewals, and connecting projects with the wider Procurement team
- Triage and manage technology demand as the entry point to the Technology Procurement team, determining the level and type of procurement support required
- Drive value through early Procurement engagement, supporting requirements definition, pipeline planning, and sharing market, supplier intelligence, and performance data
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, policies, and procedures to enable effective, low-risk, and compliant project delivery
- Develop and maintain procurement plans and continuously improve how technology procurement support is delivered, ensuring suppliers are contracted and value is maximised
