Requirements
- Maintaining a safe and secure work environment
- Directing and coordinating the activities of the quality assurance function
- Establishing and maintaining quality assurance standard procedures and methods
- Directing and implementing quality training and development programs
- Analyzing quality areas and advising plant management and the manufacturing department
- Overseeing the application and administration of the Infinity system
- Working with material suppliers on quality issues and cost reductions
- Administering customer and vendor claim reimbursement systems
- Performing leaker awareness training at the customer level
- Accessing, inputting, and retrieving information from the computer
- Initiating, reviewing, mastering, and following all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Establishing and maintaining an employee relations climate of trust and confidence
- Maintaining effective work relationships within the department, division, group, and company
- Working overtime on a regular basis and/or being on call as directed by management
