Associate Teacher -Preschool - Bank Street Family Center

Bank Street Family Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Associate Teacher to support the development of children in their Preschool program. The role involves implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, supervising children, and collaborating with parents and other school staff. This position focuses on creating a positive and stimulating learning environment centered on exploration, discovery, and social-emotional growth.

Requirements

• Must be working towards or have earned a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
• Must qualify for New York State Education Department Assistant Teacher Certification
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Valid NY State teaching certification
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to positive classroom practices and child development
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers, therapists and administrators
