Job Description
Liberty LEADS is seeking an instructor to implement literacy classes for 7th and 8th-grade middle school students in afterschool and Saturday programs. The role involves developing writing skills, critical thinking, and stamina. Instructors will use seminar-style instruction, interactive projects, and project-based learning. Weekly lesson plans and final projects are required for review.
Requirements
- NYS Teacher Certification or professional proficiency in content area preferred
- Experience working with middle school youth
- Reliable Wifi and computer access
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of group development
