Security Engineer

Role Overview

As a Security Engineer at Bankgirot, you will work hands-on with the operation, management, and further development of security services in a technically complex and business-critical environment.

What You Will Do

The role involves close collaboration with Cyber Defence, operations, networks, and other specialist functions to ensure stable, secure, and future-proof solutions.

We are looking for profiles in two different security areas, both of which have a crucial function in building and further developing Bankgirot's security platforms and working methods.

Requirements

• Experience of operating, managing, or developing security solutions
• Experience of working with Splunk Enterprise and/or FortiSIEM
• Experience of EDR solutions such as SentinelOne or equivalent solutions
• Experience of troubleshooting in complex environments
• Understanding of log management, SIEM architecture, and security analysis
• Understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, and patching
• Experience of Linux, networks, and infrastructure-related troubleshooting
• Experience of NDR solutions such as Vectra, or interest in developing in the area
