Volunteer opportunities are available at Baptist Health Care in various locations. Responsibilities may include greeting patients/guests, providing information and directions, escorting, answering telephones, taking messages, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

• Volunteer Tasks may include the following:
• WAYFINDING — The Baptist Hospital volunteers greet patients/guests and provide directions, information and escorting services as needed.
• NURSING (PATIENT CARE AREAS) — Nursing Services volunteers provide assistance to team members, patients, families and visitors.
• OFFICE SUPPORT — Office Support volunteers provide assistance to many departments within the hospital.
• SURGERY AND WAITING ROOMS — Volunteers of the Family Waiting Rooms serve as supportive liaisons between the patient families and operating room personnel.
• REGISTRATION DESK — Registration Desk volunteers provide information and directions to patients and guests.
