Senior Engineering Technician - Bridge Design

Role Overview

This position will work on drafting routine to complex engineering projects utilizing Computer Aided Drafting programs and design software. Position specializes in structural engineering projects. Project work will focus on bridge design.

What You Will Do

Performs routine to complex drafting assignments structural design projects, utilizes AutoCAD, Revit, structural analysis and other software to draft/design projects, and works with engineer or designer on full plan development.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge and abilities in AutoCAD, Revit and structural analysis software
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Highly motivated with effective communication skills

• Highly detail oriented
• Good math skills (ability to: add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent listening and reading skills, including proofreading
• Good time management skills with ability to handle complex deadline driven workload
• Ability to work independently and also in a team of professionals
• Ability to embrace new technology and processes
• Knowledge of structural design
• Knowledge in one or all of the following: Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Timber
