Senior Project Engineer - Transmission Design

Role Overview

This position will be designing transmission engineering projects, including focus areas of line layouts, structure design, and foundation design. The role will work under the direction of the Client and Project Manager in charge of the project, and will be responsible for identifying and developing the scope of work, meeting customer expectations, and overseeing project quality.

What You Will Do

The Senior Project Engineer will act as a technical specialist in the focus area, provide internal technical advice to project managers, and collaborate with clients to develop project plans and scope. They will also direct and manage the production of project deliverables, including signing and sealing of work products as a Registered Professional Engineer.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related engineering field
• 5+ years engineering experience in appropriate discipline and P.E. licensure
• Knowledge/experience of PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole, MFAD, LPILE, and related design software
• Professional licensure in Kansas and Missouri
