Surveying and Mapping Engineer

Role Overview

Perform and oversee topographic, boundary, construction, and as-built surveys. Prepare and maintain site maps, plats, alignments, and geospatial data. Support civil, structural, and utility design with accurate survey inputs.

What You Will Do

Utilize GPS, total stations, drones, and LiDAR technologies. Process and analyze field data using industry-standard software. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS/RPLS) license in Texas (or ability to obtain)
• 5+ years of experience in land surveying and mapping, preferably on industrial or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency with survey and GIS software (e.g., Civil 3D, Trimble, Leica, ArcGIS)
• Strong understanding of construction staking, site grading, and utility layouts
