Trainee program START IN Coatings - IT (m/f/d)

BASF is looking for a Trainee program to join their START IN Coatings - IT (m/f/d) program, offering hands-on experience in various areas within the Coatings business. The 18-24 month program provides exposure to both operational and strategic tasks, with opportunities to rotate through positions in Application Management, Digital Product Management, and Application Development. The Trainee program is part of a three-month international assignment and will integrate with SAP and other digital solutions.

Requirements

• Completed master’s degree in Informatics, Business Informatics, Economics with an IT focus, or a comparable field
• Initial practical experience in project management
• Prior knowledge of agile working methods such as SCRUM or Design Thinking
• International experience, for example through an internship or a semester abroad
• Basic understanding of SAP (FIORI, API, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, ABAP, or Python
• Fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is highly desirable
