Casualty Director Opportunity

The Casualty Director Opportunity is a chance for a director from Wales or with Welsh language skills to work on the long-running medical drama Casualty, gaining practical experience and showcasing all aspects of production. You will be mentored through the entire process, including preparing and filming two episodes of Casualty, and have the opportunity to direct the second episode of the block with ongoing support and guidance from an experienced director mentor.

Requirements

• Be a Welsh person, or living in Wales
• Be credited as a television director (30 minutes or more) in scripted drama
• Have recent first assistant director experience
• Be available for the following dates: 15th June - in person and/or Zoom meetings, 21st September - 27th November for preparing, filming and post-production of the episode
