The Material Coordinator will support material planning and/or material coordination for a small to medium project site as directed by a Supervisor. This role is designated as part-time telework and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project.
Requirements
- Material coordination activities at a jobsite under Supervision within material discipline of responsibility to ensure the accurate reporting of material and equipment work package statuses for installation
- Monitors planned inventory control mechanisms, such as min-max and bag-and-tag and uses Digital Supply Chain tools as directed by Supervisor
- Coordinates material availability in support of design revisions, rework, contingency or work-around plans
- Coordinates with warehouse personnel for materials to be issued direct to the installation area, as opposed to being controlled in storage
- Prepares reports as directed by Supervisor
- Performs planning activities as directed by Supervisor
- Coordinates material planning activities for a material discipline area of responsibility
- Monitors Engineering and Supply Chain deliverable schedules to meet the construction schedule
