The Subcontract Technical Representative, Civil is responsible for providing project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Physical ability to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs
- Knowledge of Large Engineering Procurement and Construction project, and/or commercial nuclear construction projects
- Self-starter, highly motivated, requiring little supervision, and able to work well in a team environment
- Good working knowledge of current design codes and standards such as ACI, AISC, ASME, as well as NQA-1 requirements
- Familiarity with power, EPC or nuclear quality and commercial practice standards
- Preferred experience as a Subcontract Technical Representative, Field Engineer, or Superintendent in the Earthworks, Excavation, Concrete, Reinforcing Steel or Structural Steel discipline
