Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Almelo, Netherlands. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for high-tech products in various domains, working on a strong foundation in embedded Linux, including kernel configuration, drivers, BSP development, and system integration. Experience with C/C++, Qt/QML, microcontrollers, and real-time systems will be an asset. The ideal candidate will work from modern development methodologies like Agile/Scrum and contribute to solutions that meet high demands for safety, quality, reliability, and cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Design and develop embedded software for complex, hardware-near systems
• Contribute to the system architecture and make design choices
• Develop drivers, applications, and frameworks for embedded Linux platforms
• Design and implement HMI components with Qt/QML
• Design and develop software that meets medical regulatory requirements
• Collaborate intensively with hardware, software, and test engineers in a multidisciplinary team to realize integrated solutions
• Take cybersecurity aspects into account in design and implementation
• Perform testing, documentation, and support of certification processes when required
• Actively participate in an Agile/Scrum team and contribute to process and quality improvements
