Senior Network Engineer

Role Overview

The Senior Network Engineer will work as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining the United States Air Force Test Operations efforts at AEDC. This position requires occasional scheduled extended hours and/or weekend work to meet critical contractual requirements and occasional unscheduled night or weekend support in emergency situations.

What You Will Do

Provide engineering support for the design, configuration, cyber security configuration and maintenance of critical test facility networks. Architect, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

10+ years of proven, hands-on experience in network engineering and architecture. Advanced, practical knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), firewalls, and VPNs. Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical projects and solve challenging analytical problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree focusing in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering
• 10 years of experience
• In lieu of Bachelor’s degree 14 years of experience in Network Engineering
• Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and access to DoD network and computer systems
• Current U. S. Citizenship required
