Contract Supervisor

BGIS is recruiting for a Technical Supervisor to support operations at a prestigious static site in London. The role will provide technical support and assistance to the Technical Manager and wider engineering teams, ensuring operational performance, compliance standards and engineering excellence are consistently delivered.

Requirements

• Electrically qualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum
• HNC qualified or equivalent preferred
• Strong understanding of inspection and testing procedures
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including chillers, cooling towers and closed water systems
• Experience with generators, ATS, STS and UPS systems
• Knowledge of controls systems including BMS, PMS, EMS, PLC and lighting controls
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and engineering compliance requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate with strong organisational and reporting skills
• Supervisory or leadership experience within a hard services or critical environment
• Practical HV/LV switching experience across complex infrastructure
• Experience managing specialist contractors and technical service providers
• Strong technical background across commercial electrical and mechanical building services systems
